What a great piece of art! MAN I am happy to see that foto quality here at GFX! I would have guess you've taken this with a Holga cam, I like the square format. A little more "story" would be nice to it, cause the contrast removes a bit, I guess. Anyways, cool:)

Powerful darks and bright highlights create creepy atmosphere surrounding the photo. Grey areas around edges help pull viewer into the island because it has such a high contrast your eye keeps going back to the island.

Almost reminds me of pinhole, I love the mood and the distortion works quite well.

Oh man, I can’t remember the last time I saw one of these ‘in the flesh’ as it were.
Excellent piece of work – the composition / arrangement is really emotive – the partial frame to the left puts me in mind of a section of cine film... gives it a feeling of action and passage of time.

Hmm you really ought to get yourself a Nikon or Canon pin though. The third-party pins are ok at a pinch but for build quality Nikon and Canon have cornered the market in tiny round holes. :)
